7.2-75KW Natural Gas or Propane Fired Generator Sets:
 Packaged Standby System (PSS) series of gas fired generator sets rated from 7.2-25KW @ 3600RPM and are popular for residential and light commercial application. The 27-75KW @ 1800RPM are popular for residential, commercial and industrial application. The PSS series offers a practical and economical solution to emergency power problems. When a power failure occurs, the electric load is automatically transferred to the generator set. When commercial power service is restored, the electric load is transferred back to the utility line. Because this process is completely automatic, you can be assured of a ready supply of electric power. PSS supplies essential emergency power for lighting, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and the special requirements of various applications. Each model consists of an indoor-mount automatic transfer switch with exerciser clock, an outdoor weather protective sound attenuated enclosure with engine, generator, critical silencer, battery trickle charger, controls and components necessary for a complete emergency system. Every generator set and transfer switch is factory tested to assure efficient, dependable operation. PSS units operate on economical, clean burning L.P. or natural gas for quick, dependable starting and long engine life with less maintenance and reduced exhaust pollution.

Unit mounted radiator with pusher fan, Heavy Duty Air Cleaner, Residential Muffler with rain cap, Low Oil Pressure & High Temperature Switches, 12 volt Starter, Alternator, Battery, rack & cables, Fuel Control Solenoid, Belt Guard, Engine Mounted Start/stop Control Panel includes on/off start and Preheat switch, Hour meter, Main Line Circuit Breaker, Vibro-mounts, steel skid base, Painted, Tested. In our 30KW-880KW Gas Fired Generator sets we use world class engines by GM (30-150KW), Cummins (175-880KW) and Ford, direct connected to continuous duty brushless alternator with less than a +/-1.5% solid state voltage regulation with a Sommers specified excitation system for superior motor starting and electronic load (ups) carrying capability. (Gensets available in 1 phase & 3 phase voltage ratings from 208V through 4160V, 50 or 60 Hertz @ 1800rpm)
